Mom.
Happy birthday to the greatest mom in the world.
She's the pretty one in the purple.
I love my mother.
So much.
She seriously is my best friend.
I can talk to her about anything and everything.
And we laugh.
A lot.
And she's the only one who can make fun of my past weirdness.
And boyfriends.
And misfortunes.
She is such a strength in my life.
I don't know what I would do without her.
I miss her so much, and I only live 325 miles away.
We talk almost every day.
I wish I could be there for her big day.
But alas.
College calls.
Happy 47th Mommy.
I love you so much.
Thank you for being my best friend.
I'll see you soon.

List.
Everyone's been making bucket lists lately.
I have one.
But I don't want to join the trend entirely.
So.
I made a different list.
A college bucket list.
Of things I want to accomplish before I GRADUATE.
Or get married.
Yuck.
No.
We'll say graduate.
Anyways,
Here we go
#1. Road Trip to California.
ALY. KAYLA. AUBREIGH. MAGGIE.
This is for you.
We will go to a beach house in California.
We will party all weekend long.
We will tan.
And we will live life to the fullest.
Coins for Cali! :]
#2. Camp-Out.
I want to camp out before a BYU basketball game.
Really.
Badly.
In a tent.
Overnight.
In front of the Marriott Center.
In the cold.
To watch our soon to be below average basketball team play.
Everyone else did it this year.
And I think it would be so fun.
#3. Go to an Away Game. Outside of Utah.
Whatever sport (preferably basketball or soccer)
I want to go and watch them play.
Especially now that we're independent at football.
Which may be my only chance to go to the great University of Texas.
Don't ask why this is one of them.
It just is.
#4. Live Abroad.
This is HOPEFULLY coming true Winter 2012 to London.
That is for another blog post.
Later.
#5. Internship.
Again, this is hopefully coming true next year.
I want to intern in New York City SO badly.
Really.
Really.
Badly.
#6. Become a True Cougar.
That's easier said than done.
Kiss at the Cougar Statue out from of Lavell Edwards Stadium at midnight. (Is this true? I just heard someone talking about it....sounds cool.)
First, find boy. (Obviously a hard task for me.)
Second, accomplish kiss.
#7. Tunnels in the H-FAC.
Need I say more?
#8. Get on the roof of the SWKT.
And look at campus.
Pretty huh? :]
I thought so too.
#9. Get a 4.0 one semester.
Ambitious, I know.
Especially for me.
But.
I know it won't happen this semester (stupid American Heritage).
So you can only hope for later on in life.
#10. Win an Intramurals T-shirt.
In anything. I'm ready to win.
Maybe the list it will grow more as college goes on....
But those are my core 10.
Only 3 more weeks of classes....
Freshman year is almost over. :[
The roomie this year and next year....I LOVE HER. :]
We're going to kill this next year.
Anyways.
Sorry for the long post.
Peace.
Blessings.

Vegas.
I live in PROVO.
(keep in mind all this post)
The past two weekends for me have consisted of....
VEGAS.
Yes.
Twice.
How, you might ask?
Well....
#1. BASKETBALL.
My roommate Jess and I are in LOVE with Basketball.
Seriously.
It's an addiction.
Anyways,
When we saw how kick butt BYU is at basketball...
We decided we should go watch them.
In Vegas.
So we packed it up and stayed at the STG.
And watched us lose. :[
But still.
It was a great weekend.
Full of great quotes and sunny skies.
#2. SPONTANEOUSLY.
I have two beautiful friends.
Aly and Kayla.
Who have never been to Vegas before.
Those East Coasters...
So.
Wednesday night we decided.
Let's go.
So we did.
We chilled in STG for Friday and moved on to Vegas Saturday.
Walked the Strip.
Stayed at this kick-a resort.
And partied like rockstars.
Yes. Those pictures are in the same spot.
And no more Vegas for me for awhile.
My wallet is too beat up for it.
Oh the joys of college....

Butcher.
This guy (closest to the guy in red, who happens to be from Utah. Ha.)...
Is my hero.
Sincerely.
He saved my Sweet 16.
Did you see how he played off the bench?
Amazing.
And of course, Howard too.
That buzzer beater was a gem.
I
I.
LOVE.
MARCH.
MADNESS.
Ps- Happy St. Patrick's Day. :]

Made.
Remember last week?
When I was freaking out about my huge decision,
Where I would work this summer?
I owe you all for your comments.
You're all peaches. :]
Thank you.
But.
I've decided.
Goodbye Provo.....

Hello St. George.

Again.
I know everyone's groaning right now.
BUT.
Hear me out.
I went to my interview Friday.
The lady is hilarious.
Her name's Kelly.
She 's amazing.
She offered me a part-time job at first.
And then the interview went on.
And she asked me how I felt.
I told her Connecticut was more money and a better offer right now.
So.
I was about to say no.
Then, she turned around.
And offered me nine hours on the spot.
A DAY.
8-5.
No questions asked.
I would get some sweet benefits and the pay's okay.
But, I still felt like Connecticut was for me.
I talked to my daddy later.
And he said to me,
"Michelle. I'm going to tell you. This may be our last summer in St. George"
!!!!!!
Wow.
Bomb dropped.
That's for a later blog post.
So, I wasn't so sure about Connecticut as much anymore.
But, I still wanted to go.
Then.
I talked to my parents together,
And they came forward.
And said they would be paying for half my Study Abroad now
Again.
!!!!!!!!
That means I only need to pay $4,500 now instead of $9,000.
So.
I was leaning towards St. George more.
Next. (Do you like how all of these happened in order? I sure do.)
My aunt called and said if I didn't come back this year,
She would love to use me next year.
So I would still have a job.
My grandma also told me I could come back next year too.
Finally.
My mom before I decided text me.
And this is what it said.
"I think the way everything rolled out for you so easily at SkyWest was not just by chance."
And you know what?
It's true.
I believe a chance was created for me to go back home one more time before I grow up.
Next year, I'll be heading off to London.
I'll be moving on and seeing the world.
But for one more year, i'll be grounded and with my family.
In the good old STG for one more year.
I think i'll be happy.
And tan.
We'll see what happens.
Ah.
Life.
