I can't seem to get them in focus.
But.
I'll focus a few of them for you.
The main reason I think my thoughts are so scattered is this...
#1. In two months FROM TODAY, I will officially become a resident of London.
I am ECSTATIC.
Ask my roommates.
I have my London International Studies class every Thursday from 5:00-7:15 PM,
And I come home and it's all I can talk about the rest of the night.
Seriously.
Like last night, we talked about staying focused on this semester,
Because our next one is going to be even better.
Yeah.
So not happening.
I dream about it.
It's everywhere I can see.
It keeps draining my bank account.
And it makes me excited.
It also isn't helping that I'm going with 40 of the coolest people ever.
And we've already planned getaways to Paris,
Barcelona,
Berlin,
Prague,
Rome,
Venice,
Vienna,
And my personal favorite....GREECE.
So.
Now all I do with my spare time is avoid my homework.
And look up destinations around Europe.
And try to find cheap trains and hostels.
Such is the life of a college traveler.
Don't worry. This is Hyde Park in the winter, where i'll be living. The street on the left is Palace Court. The BYU Center is located at 27 Palace Court. Yeahhh.
See this place? Marinola, Italy. I WILL BE HERE IN 3 MONTHS.
Ignore my hideous face. This is my student ID card for International Travel. It gets me way sweet discounts on shows and museums. And just makes me feel official. I got it yesterday. Changed my life.
#2. Because of this new excursion I will be embarking on in two months,
I must quit my job.
I calculated how many days I have left at work.
15.
ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS.
I'm beyond excited for this.
But sad as well.
The Spoon has been good to me.
I've made some great friends here and I'm going to miss them.
Especially Steffi.
She's the sweetest.
And I'm so excited for her student teaching in the winter in WASHINGTON DC!
Yeahhhh girl!
#3. The day I finish Chem 105, I may cry immense tears of joy.
I only have 5 more weeks.
I keep telling myself that.
But it's just not working.
On the plus side:
1st test: 52%
2nd test: 70%
3rd test: to be continued. Next test is in 10 days...pray for me.
#4. My Maggie Shea is getting married in less than 2 months!
Excited/sad/anxious/happy/ready for this wedding to happen!
This was just two years ago almost to the day. We were babies. She's getting married now. I love her.
#5. The first of my best guy friends gets home from his mission in one week!
I am STOKED to have them back and I hope we can all just go back to our sweet hangouts.
This is Cam. He's the first to come back. PS- I was so tan. Yeesh.
We were babies. Yeesh. Beau gets back in May, Zach in June, Miles in December, McKay in March, and Barry in April!
Ryan's the last of them to come back. He gets home in August.
#6. I love BYU more than anything i've ever loved in my life.
Besides my family.
As much as homework sucks,
As much as I dislike everyone around me dating,
As much as I am out of the loop dating wise,
And as much as all my friends are dating...
I wouldn't trade being here for anything.
I love it.
I love my friends.
I love my ward.
I love my roommates.
And I just love life.
Some of the 35th. You won't find a cooler ward than ours.
I love these people. The best group of friends you could have.
Year 2 anyone? Love these women with all my heart.
Love my hott babes. And random gingers.
Yay for friends living in Lib!
#7. Since the post is long,
I'll end off on my lucky number.
The quote I've been living by for the past month.
That hangs up on my mirror,
And in my room.
"What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?"
- Vincent Van Gogh.
Peace and blessings.
..chelle..
