It's the big city near where you grew up or spent a lot of time around.
Obviously, my mom's is New York.
Lucky.
I'm so jealous.
My aunt's is Boston, where she lived for 6 years while my uncle went to Harvard.
I'm special.
I have two cities since I moved late: Salt Lake and Las Vegas (i know them like the back of my hand).
My dad's city is San Francisco.
He was born and raised in San Jose and Hollister.
40 minutes outside of SF.
And.
I've never been there, besides flying into there and connecting to another flight.
Crazy huh?
So.
We took a trip out there this weekend for some fun and back to school shopping.
We hit up Pier 39 and Union Square for some solid hours.
And saw some of my dad's old "hangouts."
Although my favorite city ever (in the US- DUH London) is New York City (i will live there someday),
I instantly fell in love with San Francisco.
It probably ranks in my Top 5 favorite cities.
Which I will say, is a pretty hard feat to accomplish
As Train says, "Won't you save Me, San Francisco?"
I can't wait to get back.
2 weeks.
2 days.
Until the blessed Provo return.
..chelle..
