Back.

Yes.

I'm back. I know, it's been two years.

TWO YEARS.

That's a long time.

I've debated on whether to keep the blog or let it go. Like, you know, letting go of all those high school habits?

But...I kind of like it. I have a lot of thoughts. And they don't make any sense to anyone. I'm pretty sure nobody reads this. But, who knows. Maybe I'll strike it rich and then everyone will read my blog. Haha.

I promise I'll catch the blogging world up on my life from the past two years. But, for now, a class assignment is going up above. Stay tuned, Blogger.

To satisfy some of your curiosity, here's a picture from the past two years.

Announcement.

Dear world,

I, Michelle Wood, have an announcement to make...
(even though it's not that shocking since 5000 people you know have already announced this)

I'm going on a mission.
The question has been asked.
The prayers have been answered.
The process has been long.
BUT.
The papers are done.
The waiting begins.
And the guesses are flowing in (if you want to be placed on the guessing map, you just let me know. We will gladly throw your name up there).

Game on, gamers.

Greetings.

Greetings bloggers.

It's been a LONG while, I understand.
I'm just so busy now, being a junior and all.
Now it's time to get serious about school.
And I work 20 hours a week, to boot.
But it's not just school.
I have some fun times every now and then you know?

(Remember my main ladies? They tried to take my camping virginity...it was not successful.)

(#4friends1shirt.)

(We reunited. I almost cried. Bless your soul, Britain.)

(We survived the crazy convention! 35 hours of work in 4 days AND school full time...we were tired. Too tired.)

(Remember these ladies? We're still going strong and having a blast. In fact, we have a roomie blog. You can check it out HERE)

Anyways, that's life as of late.
I'll blog after I take a nice vacay getaway to SAN DIEGO this weekend!
TTFN- Ta ta for now!

JUNIOR.

You know you are old when you become a junior in college,
When your brother starts attending the same school you do,
When your classes become more specific and start to have more homework,
Even weirder, you actually TRY to do your homework,
You start going to bed at a decent hour (try like midnight-1 am folks),
And when you live in a place for quality of apartment, not social scene.

Welp.
That's me folks,
A junior.
15 credits.
7 classes.
20 hours of work a week.
Communications major.
English and Business minors.
And Campus Lane inhabitor.
With the best roommates a girl could ask for.

Come at me, junior year.

Update.

So here's the update:

Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry. I suck at blogging. I'm so lazy now, it's bad. Hopefully, I'll get back into the swing of things soon.

I moved home. I love being with my family. I've missed them so much. And for the first time since December, I've been in Utah for longer than 8 days. It feels so good and so wrong at the same time. And it's totes nice because we have a pool and that's all I do all day long.

I went to Zion's for the first time. I went with my siblings, my mother, and my cousins. So much fun. I love that place. Hiking has become a new pastime that I've recently discovered and I can't wait to get back.

I've changed my major. For good. I'm done with all the not knowing nonsense.

I picked up two minors along the way. Two things I love. I'm so excited to begin working on them.

I go up to Provo literally every 5 days or so. Between applying and interviewing for jobs and weddings, I could invest in some SkyMiles if my father didn't work in the airline industry and start racking up some points. Last week, Ash and I went up together. We stayed with her wonderful family, goofed around, and applied for some jobs. It was a nice weekend and it got me excited for the fall. And it was nice to finally hang out with some kids my age this summer.

I miss London and the London Center every day. You wouldn't even believe how much I miss it. 8 months ago from yesterday, the beginning of the best semester of my life was happening. I see it everyday in the Olympics and it makes my heart break. But I had a mini-reunion this weekend in the nice escape of PC with Ellzz and JT and Patty Cakes and it was okay. Can't wait for the next one at Jess's wedding on Saturday.

I've tried to change my attitude about life in general. And it's worked. And because you've made it this far in the blog post, have a free piece of advice that I've been trying to live by.

THIS place couldn't be more addicting and time consuming. And I love it so much.

Happy Tuesday to you all.

20.

20 is old.
Seriously.
I was talking to my aunt a couple nights before I turned 20,
And she started telling me how once your teenage years are gone,
You never get that carefree fun back.
Geez.
Thanks.
But then I started looking back on my teenage years,
And even though I had some hardships (like moving and tearing my ACL),
I had a lot of fun,
Made of lot of good friends and memories,
And did a lot of what I wanted to do,
Including the Study Abroad I always talked about.

(I am dying. My friends and I spent hours on that board behind me. And that M necklace was classy when I was 13.)

(7 years difference...holy cow.)

Anyways, it was sad to leave the teenage years behind.
But I had a good day.
My family got me some good clothes and a new straightener (Chi holla!)
My daddy took me to lunch.
I went to get a snow cone with ma gurl Ash.
I had a few visits from various friends,
A yummy birthday dinner,
And last but not least....A Katy Perry birthday party with my cuz, Ash, and Katy Perry herself.

Anyways, here's to being 20.
And old.
